WHAT IS A MEMORY ITEM

A memory item is what this web site is all about, if we all had perfect memories there would not be a need for memorycue.com, but I have found out over the years that my memory does not work nearly as well as it did 40 years ago. I also know from talking to others that they have the same problem. I have also noticed that people that are half of my age do not remember things as well as I do. I don't think very many will dispute that they have trouble remembering names, dates, places, etc. I guess the best way to describe a memory item is something you feel is to important to take a chance that you might forget it. A memory item can be a friend's name, it could be a person's name you met only once, but felt it was important to retain, it could be a song that you are fond of, it could be anything.

Lets look at an example of how to add a memory item:
After you have achieved a good login, you will be shown the main memu page,
as you pull down the scroll bar you will see:

Normally you would click on the Add Memory Item button, for this example continue to use the scroll bar at the right.

This will bring you to a screen that shows you all of the categories that
you have, you can select one or more of them to apply to your new memory
item or you have the option of also adding a new category, in our case we check marked (clicked) on phone#.

When you scroll down you will see the area to type in the memory item
in our case we are adding Paul Potters with phone# and email address

Normally you would click on Add Memory Item, and that would complete the addition of a new memory item with the Category of Phone#.
